Position Paper

Prior to the beginning of CEFIMUN2023, delegates must prepare a position paper.

The writing of this essay will allow delegates to fully understand the issue presented in their committee, and their country's policies.

In this paper, delegates must define their strategies and possible actions.

Before writing their Position Paper, delegates are encouraged to:

1. Read their committee's Background Guide provided by the secretariat.

2. Conduct thorough research about the UN, their country, the topic, and past international actions.

3. Take a position, since their paper should reflect the position and actions of their Member State or country.

3. Country's Policies: This paragraph must contain detailed background information and position related to the topic.

4. Proposed Solutions: This paragraph will list the delegate's proposed solutions regarding the issue.

5. Sources: References cited in APA format.

Two printed copies of the position paper must be submitted at the beginning of the first session.
